Dobbin Planning Group, through Dobbin International Inc, started preparing strategic environmental assessments in the late 70's,before this term-SEA-became popular. Dobbin prepared all the strategic environmental assessments of all the coastal and ocean zones of the USA and Canada, as well as the Arabian Gulf, Beringea, Lancaster Sound, Caribbean Basin, Prince William Sound, and the entire Mediterranean Basin. These all provided information and comprehensive spatial data bases leading to better decision-making and investment programming.
