Computerization from e-mail to e-Government

In the new fast, knowledge-based economy, computers are part of the basic tool kit for success. IBI offers computer training and upgrades computerized processes in every one of its projects. Beginning in the early 1980s, the infancy of the IT industry, IBI principals were introducing computerization in Africa. Our focus is on the ways our clients can get the most benefit for the least cost, not necessarily on the latest, most expensive systems. To ensure sustainability, we build in user group networks, support, and on-going contact between trainees and trainers. Some of the areas where we have introduced computerized systems include

  • Budget preparation
  • Revenue forecasting
  • Budget management
  • Tax administration
  • Customs reorganization
  • Government service delivery (e-Government)
  • Vehicle fleet management, building maintenance,
  • E-mail for small and medium enterprises
  • E-groups for networking
  • Producing marketing materials
  • Editing, layouts and publications
