10 DuraRoad is a synergistic mixture of enzymes, coenzymes, binders,
catalysts, wetting agents, surfactants and water. Applied on site
as one admixture, it will produce a compaction rate of 95% or better
when applied to a well-prepared pulverized roadway bed. UBIX 10 DuraRoad
works effectively and efficiently, greatly reducing the time normally
required for construction of conventional roadways, and at a fraction
of the cost.
This
easy to apply product is especially appropriate for use at remote
sites where supplies of road building materials such as asphalt,
tar, aggregate, fly ash, lime and concrete are not locally available.
UBIX roads will shed water, reduce dust, and endure all types of
weather conditions with limited maintenance. With UBIX 10 DuraRoad
it is possible to build hard surfaced trafficable roadways in rural
areas, forestry lands and in developing countries, using only locally
available natural materials and light construction equipment.
Ideally,
the roadway bed should consist of a proper blend of different size
aggregates, fines, soils and clay so that when blended together
with properly diluted UBIX 10 DuraRoad all particles will pack together,
filling the natural voids and forming a solid base. When final compaction
has been completed and the roadway allowed to cure, all particles
should be well packed and locked together to form a solid base,
protected by a water-impervious tight surface.
Due
to the unique characteristics of this enzyme-based soil compaction
agent, even when the ideal conditions described above are not present,
with some soil amendment, an application of UBIX 10 DuraRoad on
a well pulverized roadbed or pathway can result in a trafficable
secondary roadway almost anywhere in the world. UBIX 10 DuraRoad
has produced excellent results in a number of countries including
Mexico, Nicaragua, and Cameroon.
UBIX
Soil Compaction Agent contains no toxic substances or harsh chemicals,
its formulation is based on proprietary enzyme formulations manufactured
from natural organic materials. The compounds produced are non-hazardous
to people, animals or aquatic life, and are non-corrosive, biodegradable,
nonflammable and incapable of auto-ignition. It has been tested
and found environmentally sound in the US, Cameroon, Chad, Kenya,
Tanzania, Uganda, and many other countries.
